Most services, like Spotify or Costco, maintain consistent value year-round. Groceries and music are consumed regularly, so memberships remain stable. Training pitchers, however, doesn't function this way.

If you pay $12,000 for a year of training, my job is to generate at least 20% excess value—bringing the real value to a minimum of $15,000. For a Major League athlete, this must be closer to 20x that to be worthwhile. The issue arises when people attempt to distribute that value evenly across 12 months, like a subscription. It’s not.
🔹 The Key Problem The bulk of an athlete’s learning happens in the first 3 months of working with a coach. The velocity gains or arsenal breakthroughs may show up months later, but the actual value is realized early. By month six, an athlete has absorbed 80% of coaching concepts—if they're deliberate.
Yet, facilities and trainers price their service as if development is linear. It's not. True economic efficiency in training lies in those crucial early stages.
🔹 Why This Matters Every facility needs to profit, myself included—subscriptions, resources, and bills are real. But creating a consistently superior value proposition matters more.
The more transparent a coach is about this value curve, the better the results. If a coach delays teaching a critical grip just to retain athletes longer, that's a direct economic inefficiency for the athlete.
My pricing acknowledges this curve. Loyalty is rewarded, and pricing reflects the higher initial value, with incentives for long-term commitments.
🔹 Data & Proof Logan Gilbert’s splitter offers proof. One session, fewer than 10 total splitters, yet massive season-long value. Training isn't constant repetition—it’s precise timing.
Your goal isn't loyalty—it’s improvement. Most facilities retain less than 20% of college-to-MiLB clients due to life changes or baseball’s finite nature. Baseball careers aren't groceries; they don't last forever.
🔹 What This Means for Athletes If you’re an MiLB or MLB pitcher, your best investment is to attack your biggest flaw immediately. Find the best coach and absorb everything upfront.
Every wasted month isn’t just money lost—it’s potential left unrealized. Careers are finite, each training day counts like innings in October.
🔹 How This Applies to Training & $$$ Biggest Mistake Players Make: Wasting money on generic long-term plans instead of focusing on immediate high-leverage improvements.
I've coached 50+ MLB pitchers and 3 Cy Young winners. My retention wasn't about subscriptions or delayed results—it was because athletes saw immediate, upfront value and continuous refinement.
Real coaching is front-loaded: greatness isn’t a subscription service.
🔹 The Training Blueprint In the initial phase, pitchers optimize:
✅ Arsenal Optimization: Best pitch types and grips for your unique mechanics.
✅ Command Variance: Understand and control your misses effectively.
✅ Mechanics Awareness: Identify limitations and necessary adjustments.
Long-Term Training Value:
Mechanics refinement and incremental improvements.
Trust and unbiased third-party counsel (e.g., arbitration, scouting).
Continuous advanced scouting and adaptive game planning.
🔹 Personal Story: One MLB starter joked after our first month he'd learned enough to retire. Yet, he stayed the year—not because he had to, but because ongoing refinements ensured lasting performance. The upfront gains were massive; sustained support was essential.
🔹 Final Takeaways & Call to Action Don’t wait for gradual growth—attack your biggest flaws now. Your training should deliver immediate, high-impact value, refined and supported throughout the year.
📌 Limited Spots Available: Ready for front-loaded growth and year-round refinement? Let's talk.

Front-loaded coaching is ethical coaching—give athletes value immediately. If your first month isn't impactful, your coach is holding something back.
Like a successful economy, training thrives on trust, reliability, and value exceeding cost. That’s what I offer.
Let’s get to work.
